  • At The Nursing Station We are American Heart Association Certified Instructors* Miami BLS Renewal CPR Class, Basic Life Support, CardioPulmonary Resuscitation, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support *Our curriculum is in accordance with the guidelines established by The American Heart Association.
    The American Heart Association's BLS Healthcare Provider Course is designed to provide a wide variety of healthcare professionals the ability to recognize several life-threatening emergencies, provide CPR, use an AED, and relieve choking in a safe, timely and effective manner. The course is intended for certified or noncertified, licensed or nonlicensed healthcare professionals.

CPR class will teach you how to check for responsiveness and The ABC’s of CPR in this instance. The chance for survival decreases between 7%-10% with each passing minute that CPR is not performed. In contrast, when CPR training is utilized, the chance for survival is now 3%-4% for each minute the moment the patient loses consciousness to application of defibrillation. Immediate CPR performed within a few minutes from the time of collapse in conjunction with defibrillation will lessen the probability of neurological damage when the person is revived.
